Who are we?

The Anchorage Community Concert Band is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation for the presentation and support of rehearsals and concerts conducted by adult musicians who desire to continue musical performing as a lifelong avocation and to support the musical development of members and the community.

Donations to the band are tax deductible for the donors. We are supported by donations from individuals and corporate sponsor, grants, and revenue received from ticket sales.

Members of our musical organization are volunteers and come from a wide range of roles within the community. Some continue to study music through college and in the military. A number of members are active or retired music teachers and music educators in the public schools, looking for an opportunity to play their instruments as well as lead their respective musical groups.
